You don't look like an alien sexual predator in that! Scarlett Johansson looks less than seductive filming at a Glasgow petrol station

She's usually known for epitomising glamour both on and off-camera.
But Scarlett Johansson surprised with a rather less sophisticated look at a  Glasgow petrol station today.
The 26-year-old wore a dodgy pair of stonewashed jeans while filming for her upcoming film, Under The Skin, in which she plays an alien sexual predator.

In her dated trousers and with short brunette waves replacing her usual blonde locks, Scarlet looked rather less seductive than she normally does.

 

Completing her outfit with a pair of chavvy black boots and a furry coat, Scarlett certainly ensured that her celebrity status wasn't immediately obvious to any nearby locals.

The actress's character roams the Scottish Highlands, seducing men and harvesting their body parts.

Her greatest weapon is purportedly her voracious sexuality, which her victims- male hitchhikers- find irresistible.
FilmNation, who are producing the film, released a statement saying that Scarlet will play 'an alien on Earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman.'
'She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey - her voracious sexuality.'

Scarlet also stars as the only female cast member in Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon, which is due for release in 2012.
Clearly undaunted by the challenge, Scarlett said: 'The other day we were doing this big reveal shot of all the Avengers. Thor has got his hammer, Cap’s got his shield, Hawkeye has his bow and arrow, and Hulk is huge. Then it pans over to me and I’ve got guns.'
'Iron Man’s like, hovering above all of us, ready to go... I was like, "Joss… um… do I look OK holding these guns?" and he responded, "She’s a total bad-ass. She’s a killing machine".'

Under The Skin is being directed by London-born Jonathan Glazer, who rose to fame with his revolutionary work on Radiohead’s ‘Street Spirit’ and Jamiroquai’s Multi-MTV award winning ‘Virtual Insanity’ video.
In 2000 he directed BAFTA-nominated Sexy Beast.
