Making sweet music! Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo show off their guitar skills on set of new movie Can A Song Save Your Life?

She recently became engaged to Klaxons rocker James Righton.
And it appears his musical interests are rubbing off on actress Keira Knightley.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star was spotted filming her latest scenes with co-star Mark Ruffalo in New York yesterday.

And they seem to be making sweet music together on the set of their new movie Can A Song Save Your Life?
The acting duo looked like they were having fun as they played their guitars and sang into a microphone.
Keira, 27, looked casual in jeans, a black T-shirt and a red cardigan as she sipped on her coffee and chatted to a smoking Mark Ruffalo in between takes.

She seemed to take well to the musical instrument as they joked around on set.
Knightley has already showed off her footballing skills in breakout movie Bend It Like Beckham and now it seems she's been hiding her music talents, as well.
Just a day before she was seen kissing Ruffalo in a romance scene for the movie.

More scenes: They were later seen wearing different outfits as they sat on a bench in the dark ready for another scene

The British beauty was seen gently closing her eyes to sprinkle her affections on co-star Mark Ruffalo, but moments later pushed him away with force by placing an arm on his shoulder.

Dressed in cream trousers and navy sleeveless silk top, Keira's character appeared to have a change of heart in the arms of her beau after initially seeming to consent.
Keira, who plays a dumped lover who embarks on a new romance, was earlier seen smiling over a cup of ice-cream in the Big Apple. 
The scene took place on a city park bench with The Kids Are All Right actor Ruffalo and True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld.

The movie has been filming in the Big Apple for the past three weeks, with the 27-year-old playing struggling musician Greta.
She has been seen shooting scenes with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who plays her first love.
Can A Song Save Your Life? sees Knightley's character arrive in New York with her long-term love interest (Levine) with the aim of pursuing a musical career together.

Change of heart: One minute the couple looked to be playing lovers, the next Mark was spurned

But Levine's character dumps her for what he thinks will be a successful solo career without her.
In a rather typical movie twist, Levine's character meets with a bad ending while Knightley's Greta is happily discovered by a producer, played by Ruffalo, while singing in a bar on an open mic night.
Love and happiness ensue.

The movie has just announced another high-profile attachment, with hit musician Cee Lo Green to join the cast playing a successful hip-hop star.
