But while singer Frankie Sandford was the picture of happiness as she arrived at the E! Entertainment building dressed to impress with her legs out, she had to face some sad news shortly afterwards.
The 23-year-old has now called her LA trip short after learning that her beloved grandfather has passed away.
Sad news: Frankie Sandford has called her trip
to LA short so she can fly back to England to attend her grandfather's
funeral and be with her family
Head down: Just hours before hearing the sad
news Frankie dressed to impress as she joined her bandmates at the E!
Entertainment studios in LA
She wrote online: 'Hey guys I've had some really sad news. My grandad has passed away. im going to go back to the UK for the funeral and to be with my family.
'Im gutted to be missing the Roxy show, I was really looking forward to it. But the show must go on. Sorry guys, hope you understand xxx.'
Upset: Frankie revealed the sad news to her fans
on Twitter, telling them she's heading straight back home to mourn her
beloved family member
TV appearance: On Thursday morning Frankie was busy with The Saturdays on their latest promotional schedule
Making an impact: The girls have spent the last
few weeks in America trying to conquer the market, but Frankie has now
had to pull out of a show at the city's Roxy Theatre next week
Unaware: It seems Sandford was told of the news after appearing on the US programme
Earlier in the day Frankie was concentrating on her latest task at hand, winning over the American audience as they continue their efforts to conquer the market.
Sandford oozed confidence as she strutted into the television studios showing off her legs in a minuscule playsuit with a cinched in belt and high heels.
Here come the girls: Una Healy impressed in a
figure hugging minuscule dress for the show, while Vanessa White wore a
slightly longer animal print skirt for the day
Legs eleven: All the girls showed off their impressive pins for the appearance, showing off their best assets, of course
The long and short of it: Rochelle Wiseman
sported an interesting ensemble which hung low to the floor at the back
but was cut short at the front to show off her legs
Mollie King wore a similar get-up as she joined Sandford by her side in a navy mini-dress and maroon heels with her blonde locks worn down and blow dried.
Una Healy, meanwhile, left baby Aoife momentarily to film the show while showing off her own perfect physique in a figure hugging dress.
In mourning: Frankie would have no doubt had her band mates around her comforting her after learning of the news
And it was down to the fifth member, Rochelle Wiseman, to stand out in a quirky get-up which consisted of a navy mullet-type frock which skimmed the floor but was cut short at the front to again reveal her best assets.
