Let Me Entertain You! Robbie copies Sinitta as he helps Gary choose his final contestants in LA

He's no stranger to showing off his body, but Robbie Williams took things to the next level when he joined X Factor judge, Gary Barlow in LA this month.
Wearing nothing but a nude pair of boxers, pulled up socks and a total of six palm leaves, the Take That star shocked Gary and his male contestants as he made his entrance and struck a pose.
Making a reference to eighties star Sinitta's appearance on the show in 2009, when she helped ex-partner, Simon Cowell whittle down his hopefuls, Robbie looked baffled as Gary held his face in his hands.

'I saw Sinitta in it and thought, that’s what I want to do! What do you reckon lads?!' he said.
The eight pop star wannabes looked delighted to meet the Take That star - even if he was showing a bit too much flesh - with Marcus Collins replying: 'For a minute I genuinely thought it was Sinnita!'
The judge earlier told his group of guys that he was excited to be there with them.
'I'm so excited about the songs and the performances, but I think what you're all excited about right now is who’s here with me!

'This person is a very close friend of mine, this person lives in LA and this person's opinion I trust about 85%, they need no introduction, so I am not going to give them one, please welcome my guest everybody!'
Marcus was the first to sing choosing Paloma Faith's We Got Family which left Gary saying to Robbie in private: 'He’s such a belter; you know he really goes for it.
'It’s whether he will be able to do it week after week night after night. It’s whether he belts it out and doesn’t speak for two days,' he added.

Next up was Craig Colton. Before singing Halo by Beyonce, Robbie turned to Gary as he was walking towards them and said: 'Is he another scouser' to which Gary replied: 'He certainly is.'
'Packed full of scouse this house!' Robbie added.
Before singing his heart out, Craig spoke to the cameras and couldn't believe his luck.
'When I entered the competition I never thought I’d get this far,' he said.
'When I originally auditioned for the show I was working for a biscuit factory and now that I am actually sitting in LA. I just hope it doesn’t end here'

Next up to sing was teen Luke who blew Gary and Robbie away.
Following him was Converse-wearing Max who opted to wear trousers and a black t-shirt in the LA heat.
Next up was Joe who spoke of the upcoming results of the trip: 'In a matter of hours, everything could change for the better or for the worse, I just really hope it’s for the better.'

'Oh god I want this break, it just makes you want this so much more, realising that this is what you could have from this competition.'
Following his performance Robbie asked Gary in private: 'Is he in?'
Gary replied: 'He is a definite for me. To me he's five years ago, he's actually a singer from the nineties for me.'
'That’s what we are! Robbie said.

'Congrats we have got our first one, we’ve had a baby!'
Still in the states but moving onto the girls, Destiny's Child singer, Kelly Rowland had invited her close friend, Jennifer Hudson along to help her choose her finalists.
Melanie -who sang Bruno Mars' hit Grenade - was so excited as she's been a hardcore fan of the show.
'Never in a million years would I have dreamed I'd get this far, it’s just what dreams are made of,' she said. 'I've been watching X Factor since the very first episode and to think I’m actually one of these people that could be going to the live shows is unbelievable.

'I really feel like this is my moment this is the build up to what I've been dreaming of since I was a tiny little girl.'
Nineteen-year-old Misha from Manchester was up next.
'Wow, one step away from the live shows,' she said before her performance.
'My life has changed dramatically, never in my 19 years have I been on a plane that has two floors, the air hostess said "okay, so can you take your bags and go upstairs"...upstairs?!
'This is the life, not having my birth mother or father around, it's tough...my auntie brought me up and to be able to give my auntie just even a grain of salt of what she did for me back to her...that…wow.'

Londoner Sophie, also 19, was the next girl to face Kelly and Jennifer.

'Two weeks ago, three weeks ago i was working in a pub pulling pints and now I’m in Miami,' she beamed.
'Everything's just absolutely breath-taking. I do not want to go back to pulling pints at all, I want to be on stage and I want to be singing in front of thousands that’s what I’ve wanted to do since i was little SO this day is so important it could change everything it really could.'

Holly was next to take centre stage and explained that she desperately wants a careet in music: 'It literally is my life, every day I sing I don't stop singing.
'Rather than just sing to myself I want to sing to other people because I want to share my music I don't want to keep it to myself,' she added.
Blonde Amelia Lili told Kelly that she felt it was 'overwhelming' getting to this stage of the competition.
But after singing Katy Perry's Extraterrestrial, she told Dermot O'Leary: 'That was incredible...I think I showed them how much I want this.'

Nearer to home N-DUBZ singer Tulisa Contostavlos had invited her groups to Mykonos in Greece and brought singer Jessie J along to help her make her big decisions.
'All I care about is having the winner in my category and I believe it’s there,' Tulisa said confidently.
First up to sing were boyband The Keys.
Jessie J took the opportunity to ask the guys if they had topped up their suncream but they answered: 'Yeah, it’s a bit late for that, we already look like beetroot!'

Following their performance, band member Charlie said: 'It was literally one of the best moments in our lives.
'Ever since I was a kid all I have ever wanted to do is be a singer and we’ve tried so hard, in so many different avenues to make it, we tried writing to producers, to companies, to labels, everything, we have tried every possible way to make it as a singer.'
The hopeful then began to cry: 'There’s nothing else, here for me, nothing else but singing, you know I keep getting rejected and there’s not a worse feeling in the world than feeling that you’re not good enough at doing something that you love so much.'
