Not so blue! Lindsay Lohan manoeuvres cobblestone streets in cobalt platforms and see-through shirt

She's had a rough few months while attempting to get her career back on track.

But Lindsay Lohan seemed to be putting her personal woes behind her on Saturday as she stepped out in New York.
The 26-year-old Mean Girls star looked to be riding above the controversy that constantly seems to surround her when she went out in an eye-catching outfit.

While she appeared to be going for high-style in chunky blue Louboutins, the actress looked a bit disheveled as she maneuvered along the cobblestone streets in Manhattan's trendy meatpacking district.
Lindsay paired the head-turning heels with black leggings and a black blazer, and brought some edge in a knitted see-through top.
The former child star held a black tote and iPhone in hand and wore her long red hair tangled around her shoulders. 
While coming off stellar reviews from Lifetime network of her performance as Elizabeth Taylor in forthcoming biopic Liz & Dick, the star can't seem to manage staying out of headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Most recently, she accused a fellow partygoer at a Manhattan nightclub of assaulting her after a late night out.

Twenty-five-year-old Christian LaBella was arrested on September 30 after an apparent struggle between the pair at the W Hotel where she was staying.

Police sources told the New York Post that LaBella, an aide to Illinois GOP congressman John Shimkus, had been accused of taking cellphone pictures of Lohan partying, leading to a violent physical altercation between the pair.

Police have said the star wasn't seriously injured.

Law enforcement officials interviewed both Lindsay and LaBella and determined the accusations against him could not be substantiated.

They said his arrest would be voided.

An NYPD spokesman told MailOnline that both parties have filed harassment claims against each other.
