The new style capital of Britain? TOWIE's Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow kick off Essex Fashion Week (that only lasts ONE day

London, Paris, Milan and New York are renowned as the fashion capitals of the world.
But it looks like the Home County of Essex is trying to establish itself as a style destination at the latest Essex Fashion Week.
TOWIE stars were out in force at this year's Essex Fashion Week, which actually only lasts a day.

Best friends Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow represented the county style in bodycon dresses, fake eyelashes, fake tan and towering platform heels.
Also at the event were cousins Frankie Essex and Chloe Sims, who were launching their Essex Emporium and Starship Boutique clothing range respectively.
Cara tweeted: 'Spending the day at @EssexFashionWk today to support my girlies @Chloe_Sims and @FrankieEssex on their website launch/catwalk show.'

Chloe and Frankie are the latest TOWIE stars to launch their own businesses off the back of their success on the reality show.
Lydia Bright owns Bella Sorella boutique in Loughton, Lucy Mecklenburgh owns Lucy's Boutique in Brentwood, Jessica Wright owns Love Jess lingerie store in Loughton, while ex-TOWIE star Lauren Goodger runs Lauren's Way tanning shop in Buckhurst Hill.

Lauren Goodger helped Essex Fashion Week CEO Adam Ryan organise the inaugural Essex Fashion Week in autumn 2010.
As well as helping Adam organise it, she also modelled on the catwalk with her then-ex-boyfriend Mark Wright, to the chagrin of his girlfriend at the time, Lucy Mecklenburgh.
Last year, it only ran for three days, but this year it has been squeezed into just one day.
